On Friday 3 November, at Co-labory, our Multiplier Event of the Erasmus project “ARTWIN” was held, dedicated to VET Educators, trainers, teachers, designers of cultural structures, organizers of cultural events, directors, managers, curators of exhibitions, installations, events, exhibitions, graphic designers and designers, educators and mediators, reception and security staff, entertainers of all levels and trainees who want to update their skills and stakeholders.
The event was the perfect opportunity to understand the importance of acquiring new digital and accessibility skills (artificial intelligence, algorithms, immersive technologies, 3D printing, voice search/voice systems, augmented and virtual reality, multisensory and tactile paths, development of individual skills to understand the world of disability).
The invitation is extended to students, people linked to culture and involved in the adoption of cultural services for people with disabilities, and to all those interested in the theme of the project
Various organizations, our partners, participated in the event, including social cooperatives, schools, social enterprises and the host of the event, the Social Promotion Cooperative, engaged daily with the project target group. We shared with those present, mostly professionals, the reference context and how to use the project results, starting from PR1. “ARTWIN Guidebook of good practices along EU” which takes the form of in-depth research on best practices and initiatives regarding new technologies and communication tools applied to the world of culture, tourism and inclusion of disabled people to be collected as a guide so that the partnership investigates which of them could be integrated into PR2.
Next we showed the PR2. “ARTWIN Digital ProgramToolkit”, a training material that provides the project’s target groups with the high-quality knowledge and skills needed to make art and culture accessible to all. Technologies such as augmented and virtual reality, artificial intelligence, offer the possibility of exploring, thanks to special viewers, environments and places of the past, even lost ones, with 360 degree immersive experiences, in animated spaces
To conclude PR3: “ARTWIN Platform”
The “E-learning Platform” which serves as an open education digital platform for the provision of the training material developed during the project.
All Results produced can be valuable tools and guidelines to support companies or organizations, as well as their staff members, to work together with people with disabilities through culture and new technologies. The participants showed great interest and attention to the project and its Results, and at the end of the event there was a discussion on how to include them in their respective working fields.
